Starting your day off right will set you up for your best day ever.

With the long list of things to do in the morning it can be tough to start the day off on the perfect foot. With having to get ready for work, make breakfast, getting the kids ready for school, figuring out what to wear, getting your lunch and snacks ready for the day, watching the news, catching up on social media, planning your day, getting homework done before class, or anything in between, it is easy to lose sight of the importance of a Live Better Lifestyle (#livebetterlifestyle) morning routine.

Having a simple, healthy, and productive morning routine will start your day off right and lead you on a path to success. Let’s go over my 2 steps to effectively begin the healthiest day ever.

If you start off healthy, you will continue to be healthy. It’s not rocket science.

Have a large glass of spring water.

Sleep is the natural way for your body to detoxify. Throughout the night, while your mind relaxes and rests, your body is hard at work to set you up for the next day. This is one of the most amazing aspects of the human body. While at rest, everything you went through the day before, from breathing in dirty air in the city to drinking one too many beers, is being packaged up and getting ready to be sent out.

This is where drinking a large glass of spring water is extremely important. I choose a liter of Mountain Valley Spring Water because they package in a glass bottle and have the highest quality H2O. Consuming spring water within 5 minutes of waking up, will give your body one last flush to prime you for the day. Start out with a small glass and try and work your way up to a liter over time.
