We’re not against making fun of President Obama. Sometimes, we do it too much.

Despite our efforts to make relevant jokes about our country’s leader, we do believe in being decent human beings. And as people who cross the line frequently, we’re even more familiar with the lines you just don’t cross.

So, that’s why our jaws dropped when we saw the political cartoon below – which re-illustrates the final moments of Germanwings Flight 9525 with President Obama as the pilot.

It was brought to our attention after being tweeted out by Toronto Star sports columnist, Bruce Arthur.

Where Ethan Booker crossed the line here was not the fact that he poked fun at President Obama. It’s because he made fun of an event that left 150 innocent people dead.

Surely, this will become one of the most talked about political cartoons this year, not that it’s any sort of accomplishment in this particular circumstance.

If you go to the link, you’ll see the cartoon was created by A.F. Bronco. However, we believe this is only a surname for Ethan Booker. According to Booker’s Twitter account, he’s not very remorseful for it either.

If you look at some of his former work, why should he be remorseful? From ISIS to Ferguson, Booker has all sorts of sadistic artwork to share with the world.

Whether Booker thought Obama jokes were losing their bite or just wanted to wipe his ass with human decency – this political cartoon should remind people that there are times and places for joking around. However, Germanwings Flight 9525 is not one of them.

If you’re a sick fuck like Ethan Booker, laugh it up.

Just remember, the real joke is on you.
