The first time I saw Alex Scholler standing behind the decks was the last time I ever questioned her ability to DJ.
Alison Wonderland is an enigma in EDM. A classically trained cellist and musician, Alex expresses her inner beauty through the bass of her speakers instead of Twitter or Facebook. With Australian charisma and a tempered personality, Scholler and her bright future has just begun. When asked what drives her to creat such unique music, Alex replied:
The fact that I’m not where I want to be yet. I didn’t know this is where I wanted to be last year, I just worked really hard and did stuff that I cared about and it led me down this path. I think pre-empting that would be the worst thing to do. If I think about it too much I’d go crazy, so I just try and be honest with what i’m doing.
When OWSLA first released the Vicious EP, I immediately wondered how I had not yet heard of Mickey Karbal.
He goes by ARYAY, at least that’s what they say. While ARYAY has yet to reach concert tour stardom, I predict Mickey finds his way onto a few of the bigger festival lineups in 2016.
Be on the lookout for the Real Ass Lion coming soon to theaters.
See me counting stacks. That’s what it stands for.
It took me way too long to realize this. You know what didn’t take me long to realize? Yael Nahar knows how to nurture my soul through his music.
David Crow grew up on a goat farm in Buckeye Arizona. So what does he do?
The son of a bitch teaches himself music theory, moves to California and lives out of his van in Venice Beach while starting his career.
The ghost with the most has big collaborations in store for 2016 so keep the OWSLA native on your radar.
I’ve been a Gryffin fan for the better part of a decade. Which is a total lie because Gryffin has only been producing for the past three years.
And, yes, I know his remix of “Kings” by Years & Years made its way onto the soundtrack of We Are Your Friends.
If you couldn’t tell by his photo, Illenium likes red rocks. And seeing as he resides in Denver, CO, you would assume that Nicholas Miller has thrown down at the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater.
Maybe he has, maybe he hasn’t. I’m too lazy to look it up. The real question you have to ask yourself is this:
Are those real rocks? The answer and more at 6 PM.
If you can’t pronounce Sam Vogel’s musical alias, JAUZ, then you never went to high school.
And that’s okay. Most successful musicians nowadays don’t even finish elementary school. But somewhere along the way, this Los Angeles native figured out how to make some of the ground-breaking tracks we heard in 2015.
For Sam Vogel (AKA JAUZ), music has no boundaries.
Remember the Cataracs?
David “Campa” Singer-Vine use to represent half of the duo until his departure in 2015.
Welcome to the grocery store.
Marshmello makes deep, fluffy, hybrid, melodic, sexy trap house.
What more do you need to know? His name?
I don’t have that information yet. So when I saw the name Marshmello on the Hard Day of the Dead lineup, I can’t help but wonder if the masked candyman will finally show his face to his fans.
He may look like your favorite boy band lead singer, but you won’t find NGHTMRE singing for his supper on American Idol.
Is that show even on the air anymore?
Beats and bad dreams, people. That’s what Tyler does.
Her friends call her Neptune, but you can call her REZZ.
The 20-year-old producer just signed to OWSLA over the summer which is impressing seeing as she only starting making music a couple years ago.
Find her destroying speakers and stealing young boys hearts for years to come.
His name is synonymous with his music — which is usually the point of branding an artist.

Snail hails from Montreal, Canada. His music will scare your grandparents. No doubt about it.
