October has passed, and there’s several landmark occasions that deserve to be noted (briefly, of course).
The San Francisco Giants won the 2014 MLB World Series. But with the good news came the bad, as the MLB lost a rising star and a respected youngster in Oscar Taveras.
His career, and life, were just beginning. Taveras played in 80 games this season, and while it wasn’t always smooth sailing – he definitely had his moments. May he rest in peace.
Moving away from athletics, trance fans from around the world gathered last weekend for one of the biggest electronic music celebrations of the year in Group Therapy 100 at Madison Square Garden.
Here in the Midwest, the Ferguson protests are still going on. The city of St. Louis awaits a mammoth decision from the grand jury on whether or not to indict Darren Wilson – the police officer who shot and killed Michael Brown.
The clashing arguments became even more evident today, when Michael Brown’s official autopsy report revealed that his gunshot wounds include a close-range shot in the hand, which could potentially confirm Officer Wilson’s claim that the two had an altercation at the car (Brown’s blood was also found on the officer’s gun).
And yes, even Ebola is still a thing.
You must be tired after all that news and important information. Which is good, because now it’s time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the music. Without further adieu, here are the ten best EDM songs that got released last month.
