You’ve probably read our top 10 EDM songs of 2015.
If you haven’t read it yet, go screw yourself. And click here. For those of you who are interested in the relevant things we have to say, here is another series of musical analysis we’ll be spitting out this year.
This week, we’re divulging the top 10 songs released by Mad Decent (so far) in 2015. We’ll be updating it as worthy contenders come out. Next week, we’ll be posting the top 10 OWSLA songs of the year so far.
And no, we didn’t include Missy Elliot’s remix of “Take Ü There.”
DISCLAIMER: For more reasons than we have time to explain, we did not include any songs from Jack Ü’s debut album on this list. If you don’t understand why, then maybe you should go read a Wikipedia page or something.
Top 10 Mad Decent Songs of 2015
10. “Bitch Better Have My Money” by Rihanna (Gent & Jawns Remix)
The first amendment to our constitution comes in the name of Dillon Francis and Jauz. Go figure.
Anywho, the RaveFaced crew previewed this remix after Jauz dropped that shit like 3rd-period biology during goHARD in Dallas. Check out the video here, and listen to the song below.
9. “Helicopter” by TWRK
Drop down and get your eagle on, girl.
8. “Palace” by Unlike Pluto & KickRaux
This might be the first time you’ve heard of Unlike Pluto, but it won’t be the last.
7. “Hadouken (VIP)” by Zeds Dead
We can’t say enough about this Canadian duo right now. If you check out our recap of Spring Awakening, you’ll see why we’re so fond of them.
6. “Salters” by Daktyl (Featuring Jennifer Akerman)
Daktyl, so hot right now. Daktyl.
5. “Doctor Pepper” by Diplo X CL X RiFF RAFF X OG Maco
2.6 million Soundcloud views in 27 days? Damn son.
4. “Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz” by Riff Raff (Jauz Remix)
If you haven’t heard the name Jauz by now, make sure you write it down.
3. “Collapse 2.0” by Zeds Dead (Featuring Memorecks)
This is the second remix of a Zeds Dead song that has made this list. We’ll let you do the math.
2. “Keep It 100” by Grandtheft & Keys N Krates (Grandtheft VIP)
This song is absolutely disgusting.
1. “Lean On” by Major Lazer (Featuring MØ & DJ Snake)
Really no question here.
We’d be surprised to see another Mad Decent artist come in and knock this one off the list, but we wouldn’t be disappointed. Nothing against DJ Snake or MØ (and obviously nothing against Major Lazer), but it already seems like the radio is going to ruin this one for all of us.
